How about Arti+Mestieri's Furio Chirico (what a name!) and what a drummer (try Tilt)
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

No Bruford, no Barlow, no Vander, no Moerlen.  Got to be "others".

^I'm also a big fan of Max Roach. Love his melodic playing.

If you don't have Bill Bruford on this list, sorry. All you have is progressive metal.

Replace at least Lars "Poo" Ulrich with him.

Gavin Harrison has grabbed my attention of late on the Porcupine tree DVDs I have. So many good drummers...

Ringo and Mason!

On a serious note, there are many favorite drummers, but if I had to choose one it would be Bill Bruford.

Since for some weird reason you included Lars Ulrich here, wouldn't it made more sense to include at least Lombardo instead of him? I don't mean I like Slayer more than Metallica ok?  I'm saying that Lombardo is a faaar better drummer! (among MANY others)
Neil Peart is getting my vote btw... Tongue
