Slapp Happy with Dagmar Krause was pretty easy, and Steve Hiilage and Daevid Allen were an easy spot in the Gong picture.

Seriously tough - the pic says something about a Marillion weekend when you quote it, but to my recollection, that is definitely not how Marillion look like

 ... it's definitelty how Marillion look now (but not in 1983 obviously) - Steve H is on the left, Mark Kelly's in the middle, Ian Mosley is behind the drum kit and the chap onthe right is Steve Rothery.

King Crimson - 3 decades of groundsbreaking music while constantly evolving musically and withstanding numerous personel changes. The fact that they never sold out and went pop like some other prog acts is a bonus.

Nevermind, if you're not into Slapp Happy, Henry Cow, Art Bears or Dagmar then it's not surprising. We can't all know everything (I know I've tried, my memory leaks).
