Yeah, Way Of Life is my least favourite from In A Glass House. I'm not a fan of the main riff and the verses. I love the middle section though with the majestic melodies.

^^ Couldn't disagree more with you on the Pink Floyd tracks.  Not a single bad song on those three album.

Sylvia appeared on Focus 3 and in this context it is not even disappointing (Focus 3 was a weaker moment inbetween two masterpieces).

Unhappy  I love that song
In my opinion, it was very well needed on an album as heavy and mind-numbing as Leaving Your Body Map.  And the neo-classical guitar playing is just brilliant.

"Hope for the Future" on "This Strange Engine" ( Marillion )
even worse to me is "Born to run" on "Radiation" but "Radiation" is not such a great album...
well, I always loved the yellow "Genesis"-Album apart from "Illegal Alien" which was supposed to be fun
but I just can't get into it...
and I always thought of "Still in Love" to be far too poor for Supertramp's "Brother were you bound"
( even like "Ever open door" but not that one, please ).

having said that, those songs could not really "ruin" the albums but I'd sure prefer them without !

PFM's L' Isola di Niente was mucked up by Is My Face On Straight. For one thing the English vocals sound forced and awkward. The theme itself is trite.

Gentle Giant's The Power and the Glory was pretty much perfect to me until the CD re-issues that included the title track The Power and the Glory. Fortunately it is at the end and its easy to just stop the album before it comes on. The song is completely out of place, poppy and lacking character. it is easy to see why they left it out of the original release.

Black Sabbath IV is fabulous, even if Changes reminds me of the sickening version he did with his daughter. But St. Vitus Dance is just awful and 2 minutes that sticks out like an elephant disguised as a peccary.

A perfect example I would say is "Moonchild" from Court of the Crimson King. The other 4 songs on that album are damn near flawless, but "Moonchild" bores me to absolutely no end.

My friend and I were curious as to what other examples you guys may have to offer.

"Moonchild" is the worst example you could choose; I will repeat what I posted about that song in another thread:

"There is one thing I would like to say about Moonchild: Some people claim that the instrumental part of it is just pointless noodling. Those people have not been really listening; it is anything but that. The instrumental part mirrors the lyrics; each line of them can be found in it. Granted that the instrumental means used for this are unusual, and it is your good right not to like them, but it is anything but pointless, and it is certainly not noodling. You hear the Moonchild play, hide and seek, you hear her dropping stones, you hear the appearance of the sunchild, and so on. So unusual musical means: Yes. Pointless noodling: No."

Thought of one last night.  "Motion Picture Soundtrack" is a terrible ending to the wonderful Kid A.

The English vocals are awkward but it was supposed to be a goofy song.

As far as item number two, I like it a bonus track, totally wouldn't have fit in the album.

I think there are many: I Know What I Like (I don't understand why everyone loves it, it's even worse than More Fool Me that is a good pop song, after all), The Hare Who Lost his spectacles (ruining a masterpiece), the title track on Wish You Were Here, Postcard on Grace for Drowning, and many many more.

About Money, it's not a bad song imho, but it absolutely doesn't fit into the album!

I never realized that. Thanks for pointing out. Now I like the song even more Clap
