Yes, exactly...that's just the response I'd expect. Wink

Hey, nothing against you personally, you've actually been quite fine but you know...your fellow Steelers nation does an injustice for you. Not just here, or the whole internet but in real life. Honestly more insufferable than even the Cowboys. Frankly, you guys need to be put down a peg sometimes. Sorry you are collateral damage.

But fine, I'll keep it to the game.
Another third and long??? Goodness, this is not the Packers defense. Eli has been good thus far but we need some damn success on 1 and 2. Also for the love of all that is holy, if the run is still down by the second quarter just please give up and go pass!

UGH! So you can shut down Aaron Rodgers and 5 weapons but you let Alex Smith and Vernon Davis burn you? Turning the comp off, I have a feeling I'll be throwing it soon.

What do you want from us?  This city has football, hockey, and large sandwiches: that is all.  IT"S GODDAMNED IMPORTANT, MOFO!

Also, I may put Brady behind P. Manning on my all time QB list... and we all know how much I love Peyton Wink

Will root for the Giants in the SB, obviously, but as for the matchup:
yawn

holy motherf**ker what a game!
THAT should be how football is played, what crushing defense!
Mad credit to the niners, they were destructive and got pressure every third down.

Dont wanna hear any bullsh*t either, both teams grinded that game out to the end and that ball touched his knee. If he was smarter he would not have let himself get so close to it. Just wow.

And no knock on the Patriots....but I'd say the Niners are a lot better team. Bring it New England.

NEW YORK GIANTS

Eli hit: 20 times. Pressure on every third down it seemed, stifling defense all game and he never flinched.
That 3rd & 15 completed for a 17 yard laser accurate TD. Holy f**k.

And we all, myself included, chuckled when he said he was right at top with Brady and Brees.

I'd agree that the Niners are better than the Cheatriots.  Hopefully your G-man prove that to be true.

I mean, we've seen the Pats offense can be messed up. Hell, Brady threw 4 picks today but was lucky 2 got taken away, and that defense vs. our offense.
All I'm saying is the matchup looks good.

Also glad to see Eli get hit so much, really showed his balls this game.
Just damn, where was this team for 14 games?

I'm rooting for the Giants in the Super Bowl.I can't see how New England's defence can stop Manning and company. It will be interesting to see the odds for this one. A couple of good games today anyway.

It was so fun to watch Eli play that game, like JJLetho said, he was great under pressure and was able to move around and get the ball out most of the time, even though he knew he was going to get crushed.  His numbers would have looked even better if his receivers hadn't dropped so many balls.
If Eli can play that well against the 49ers, I don't think it bodes well for the Pats' defense...

But seriously folks...

Woo! Can't believe it. So many heart attacks for the game. But Eli...what a game from him. Numbers were alright...but 58 throws (which in itself is a whacha?!) but no picks from the team that is one of the best in doing it. (Admittedly that one in OT was a little close for comfort) And all that pressure in his face all day. What a beast.

But a great team win. Defense played well (sans those two Davis tds) and ST actually came to play. Wowza. Great win G-Men.

Those poor ravens...had it in the bag...let it go. But I'm pretty happy with the matchup. Should be an entertaining superbowl. Needless to say...go giants!

I'm pretty sure that loss was karma for Flacco forcing that mustache on the world.

Yeah I give all credit to the Niners, that defense was brutal and they really upped the game second half.
He was under pressure or getting sacked on every third down. Just damn, 20 hits...that would mess with the head of most QBs but he gets right back up and isn't phased. Kinda sucks he's so calm and quiet, because it takes a game like this to show what a tough SOB he really is, and for such a scrawny looking guyLOL

I really hope the Niners get some more offensive weapons. Even in his best year we kinda forget Smith has only one real weapon which is a TE. Get the man a threat receiver! Between the OCs, head coaches, injuries, and poor teams he fought through it all. Proven himself in my book, even if he will never be more than a good QB.

Hey, you've got to give us a break up here in Massachusetts.  We're in a championship drought right now.  It's been more than half a year since we've had a chance to celebrate.
Trust me. I know what I'm doing.

How bout them Red Sox?

And eh...hockey? Basketball? Who cares about those? LOL

Besides, you got to give us a break in the rest of the country. 5 super bowls in 10 years now and won 3 of the 4 played..we are sick of you guys. Even if there's a very good chance all 3 are fraudulentWink

Ah IDK that just seems a tad unfair. He did miss it but still poor kickers. Who gives a sh*t when you do your job? (Which is much more often not) but the few times you mess up...especially when the team really should've been up big by that point.

Whadya mean? You dont love Belichicks's quiet, mumbled, 10 word responses??LOL
I almost want to like him for his f**k you attitude with the media and NFL (those cut up hoodies that he's forced to wear) but ugh...just can't do it!
