Hell yeah. I wish I had the chance to see Kayo Dot live at least once.

Also, there's a guy crazy enough to cover Joey Baron.

I've only gotten my mother to like Fair to Midland, Karnivool, and something else that I can't remember. The non-prog of prog bands.

I played Black Oni loud once and my brother seemed quite interested in what it was.

But then my family have always been a bit progressive with their tastes.  My aunt saw Yes back in the '70s as well as Jethro Tull back in 1969.

Stop offending our overlords; I don't want you to get banned.

I used to play my proggy music for my parents, and their reactions were always "oh...".

I usually get that same reaction when I'm listening to something downstairs...only thing recently which got more than "oh..." was Ash Ra Tempel, and mom didn't like them because "it's distracting" LOL

I think it was Univers Zero or Art Zoyd.

My parents don't know about the dorky electronic music I listen to -- I don't want them to think I'm on drugs and not doing my schooling.

Me too. I used to take medication for it, but I believed that it was for the purpose of brain control so I stopped taking it.

Not that many.

I assume it's a bad thing then.
