I was planning on going to France about a month ago, and I received the news today. I don't know when he's going though, but I'll definitely visit him if he's there in next September.

NCAA players are amateurs and don't get paid. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Unless they play at schools like Ohio State, USC, or Miami. If he was good enough to go the NBA he could get a really nice paycheck, but according to the story that wasn't likely.
Not sure if that body was made by steroids or not. (assume probably). I'm not sure how strongly the Mr. Olympia contest frowns on that kind of stuff. -------------

Ideally...they are not professional athletes, these are kids...in college to get an education and play football for fun. So that's how, because they are amateur athletes. buuuuut of course in reality land we all know the big names take bobo classes/majors (and the profs just let em slide through anyway) and they get money, cars, all kinds of good stuff from boosters and NFL agents. |

Interesting. It's really crazy to me how popular College sports can be in the US. It could never happen here, and I struggle to imagine that it could happen in any other country. The thought of these Colleges getting billions from TV and sponsorship deals for a bunch of kid athletes who only get a scholarship is crazy . Similar things happen in Football (Soccer) here with lots of players aged 17-21. But they are earning millions. Way too much really. Whereas in the US they are earning nothing. Just seems strange. -------------
