nice one. All three of them have published amazing albums but I need to go with PT because of their prog relevance and because they are the most consistent of the lot.

Radiohead first, Porcupine Tree next... And Muse? They don't even belong here. (Although "Citizen Erased" might be the best counterfeit Radiohead song ever recorded - after "Firesuite" by the Doves, that is. Either one of these sound like they could've appeared on OK COMPUTER.)

seems lop-sided to me; radiohead a long way ahead of the other two, artistically and commercially.

It seemed like you could've said 'To-mah-to' 'to-mah-to', in which case you'd be agreeing with him.

You say tomato, I say potato. You say tomorrow, I say you owed me rent LAST week, prick, and I'm gonna break your legs with this pipe.

(Not a real threat or anything that could invoke legal repercussions)

In my opinion, a more interesting poll would be:

Radiohead, Porcupine Tree, Sigur Ros or Flaming Lips?

Or, since we all know Porcupine Tree would win (they are the one most associated with prog), perhaps removing them from the equation...

^Yeah that's an interesting idea although I'd narrow it down even more to old PT vs Flaming Lips since Radiohead isn't very psychedelic and neither is Sigur Ros or new PT.

These are my three absolute favorite bands, so it's real hard for me too choose only one of them; anyway, my answer may vary depending on my mood or according to what I'm listening to. Porcupine Tree is, obviously, the most proggy among these, albeit they've been flirting with metal lately (collaboration with Opeth, anyone?). While Muse is more of an alternative rock band - incorporating prog elements, but still - , Radiohead is more one of a kind, mixing prog, electronica and rock in an unique, characteristic blend. I would say that Porcupine Tree does have the richest discography, and experimented with way more music styles that the two other bands included in this poll. And I love their guitar solos a lot, so it kind of plays an important role regarding my choice. That's why they would get my vote if the pool was still opened. :)
