I like King Crimson much, much more than Genesis.

Tough choice. If we were merely going on the first 6 or 7 albums, probably Genesis. For their entire body of work, King Crimson. I'll choose KC for maintaining their (ie., Robert Fripp's) musical integrity.

There is no comparison... Genesis !
THE best prog group of all-time, vs a style of music I almost hate.

Crimson. I don't think that they ever sold out to play pop radio friendly music.

Crimson for me. While Genesis went pop, Crimso went in a very progressive direction during the "Discipline" era. They also deviated from the Les Paul/Mellotron formula more than Genesis did.
And, Mssr. Fripp is still at it! Looking forward to the new release!

I prefer King Crimson. And besides, if KC hadn't existed Geneses would never have pulled it of.

Tough call, this one. It could vary from day to day.
However, at the moment it would be Genesis by a mosquito's foreskin.

Interesting call. Both have put out both horrible and fantastic albums. Of course albums like Red and Foxtrot are popular but both showcase rather lacklustre musical taste and influences. However Three Of a Perfect Pair and Invisible Touch are true masterpieces of Music. I think King Crimson are easiest to forgive for such horrible albums as ITCOTCK and LTIA than Genesis are for the awful Selling England By The Pound

Tough one, I like 5 KC (Court, Poseidon, Lizard, Larks and Beat) albums against 2 Genesis (Nursery and Foxtrot)albums. But the two Genesis albums are alot better than the 5 KC albums. I guess I'll go with Genesis.
