The idea of populating that site makes me lay down and weep.

Clappies for the effort good luck.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I've been there for a while, already finding lots of new avant jazz and non-avant jazz to love.

Also, Jay - seems you haven't listened to many 2011 albums yet, have you?  I think this is the first time I've seen an album with a 3/10 rating in a "Favorites" list. LOL

I'm taking recommendations...

I'm assuming the list will evolve through the year. Lots of good stuff coming.

If you like some out-of-this-world instrumental trio stuff, I'd definitely recommend the new Korekyojinn album.

This is great news. Saw this on my Facebook feed and just about crapped myself. It'll be interesting to see the differences of opinions on albums that are on both sites, e.g. Birds of Fire and Bitches Brew

PS Triceratops... Loving your Last.fm tracks. Always gotta throw on Concierto De Aranjuez a few more times after the album stops
