I've been proven wrong twice, yet I will pick against the Jets again - I think they blew all their mojo against the Pats.

Steelers v. Packers in the big one.

Torn between picking the Jets or the Steelers. Most of the teams I pick lose...so something tells me I should pick the team I want to lose, to win. But I've never been good at listening to myself.

Jets
Packers
Dig me...But don't...Bury me
I'm running still, I shall until, one day, I hope that I'll arrive

Blew all their mojo on the Pats game? Is that even possible? LOL
Especially with these Jets and their seemingly endless wave of it. Besides, after such a win doesn't the team usually have more ?

If people want the Steelers to win that's fine, but I laugh at some of the crazy things I hear to justify it (on offense to snow pat!) Just say you want the Steelers, or think they have a better team.

None of this silly other junk.

I'm predicting Steelers vs. Packers in the Superbowl.

I said I'd been proven wrong twice.  I do think the Steelers have a better team.  I don't care who wins.

The Jets got beyond amped for the Pats - remember the "second biggest game in Jets history"?  What does that make the Pittsburgh game?

To me they weren't that impressive in their win over the Colts.  They were impressive against the Pats and outplayed them in every phase of the game.  It was the best game I've seen from them all year, of the ones I've watched.  I don't see them doing that again.  Plus, the Steelers are probably seeking a little revenge from their loss earlier in the year.

All that said, if the Jets win again I won't be shocked or anything - tip my hat to them to finally making it back to the SB.

I just hope that the steelers wins if they can stop the kickoff return, if they can protect the quaterback, if they don't have any breakdown on defense, if they don't get too much penalities, if they don't turn the ball over too much. So i really don't know who will wins, it's just a wish...Wink

I'm taking Jets and Packers.

I think the Bears will cover the spread.

Been saying Jets/Pack SB all post season and I stand with it!

Though I must say, this game really slowed down after that offensive explosion from Green Bay.
Losing Clifton hurt, you can see Peppers getting more pressure now and he has the ability to wreck a game.

After that ugly second half, the Pack still came out on top.  If we would've lost to a third string quarterback I probably would have killed myself.

That WAS pretty ugly. Kudos to the Bears defense but man your offense flatlined.
And Caleb Hanie (lolwut) was certainly not very good, but surprising he played that well at all!

Congrats to the Pack and half my SB prediction is now correct. Cool

The Steelers offense has seemed pretty predictable and mundane to me thus far.
Yet, they are killing the Jets.

So does everyone still hate Bruce Arians? Wink

(Not implying that players are still the final and most important piece, NOT the coaches!)

...I think you misunderstood.
The playcalling, not the actual game.

It was kind of a joke with Anton since all Steelers fans want Arians' head on a plate due to his predictable and mundane play calling..yet in a game like this where they are destroying I bet no one will bring it up.
Point being coaches are important, but players more so.

And I think it HAS been mundane it terms of play calling. But the PLAYERS made it such an exciting game.

Hence my point!!!! Cool

What's up with the Jet's defense? I thought this game would be very close either way. When you can't tackle you tend to get shredded.

It could be an empty stadium, (hell it could be back in NJ) I don't see the Jets mounting a comeback LOL
They had a nice lil spark in the playoffs but it appears the are back to their woeful offense.

Sanchez will take more flak of course, but all season long....so many dropped balls.
And the Jets were rolling when their TE was the big man. Then they shifted more to the receivers and the team has never been on track.

Ah well, when the Steelers go to the SB I'll have a team to root for!
(It's not them)

Indeed they are.

I'm being cautiously optimistic.

(For a Jets win of course)

Jets made it close, but they were in too deep of a hole.
