Would prefer playing the team that beat the Pats eh?

I wanted a Packer/Jets SB but now I am almost sure of it.
Maybe a close game, but the Jets are better then the Steelers and playing out of their minds right now.

Give da Bears all the credit on Earth, but I don't see em beating the Packers in any area.

Remember Matt Cassle? Not a knock him, but not started a game since HS to right off the bench and leading an NFL team to that much success? No, sorry. And while I've been a casual fan, the way the Jets have played the last 2 seasons and their mentality I think has made me a legit fan.

Enh, not even worth commenting. Haters gon hate, etc.

Cheaters gonna cheat

Anyway,
If the Packers and my Steelers don't make it to the Super Bowl it'll be an upset, in my eyes.
Have to keep the Jets from getting a kick return, avoid wiffing on open sacks (won't have Ryan Munday filling in for Troy this time), and maybe get the refs to actually make the call on the blatant pass interference this time around.

That said: it'll probs be Jets vs Bears in the SB Dead

Think my midseason pick was Jets vs Packers.  Hope I'm not right.

Oh yeah, Packers are superior to the bears in every way.
Doesn't mean an upset can't happen but they really should win.

Jets play like they did today, I'd like to see the Steelers beat em. Well, I don't.

I think that was my preseason pick also. I'm hoping for that outcome now though.

Because NYC is cool, but the real work is done in NJ! Also there's no place to put a stadium in the city.
Most Giants/Eagles players also live in NJ since it's cheaper. Actually a former Eagle got elected to Congress in Jersey!

How exactly?
The only thing they have on the Steelers is a better secondary.
The really big difference in these teams is that the Steelers have a QB with two rings and the Jets have a QB in his second year with an 0-1 record in championship games.

Much better offensive line for the Jets.

Isn't the Lakers or some other basketball team's stadium somewhere far away from their actual birthplace?

Also, u mad cuz a player got elected to your state's congress? What would you feel if a man unable to read and write was elected to the National Congress? Yeah, my rage could fuel a nuclear reactor.

Not by much, I believe right before that bold I said it maybe a close game. I'm almost positive it will be.

Fine, maybe not better but at least on par. They have been able to get pressure with just 3 linemen, and their blitzing has been effective (and we're talking against the Colts and Pats here) and did you see that coverage???
If they can cover the Steelers like that you better be glad Ben can scramble how he does.

Sanchez is also in his second year LOL forgive him for not being Jesus yet...
And who was that other QB....the guy who won the SB in just his second year?
Rothelsomething?

That argument is weak anyway. It's a team sport, and both teams are very evenly matched overall. Sanchez played pretty well today and it's a bit early to compare him to others and their more experience records donyathink? Can't shred a guy for going 0-1 after just one chance.

Edit: The Jets do have a better o-line as well (thanks), which is obviously a critical piece.

I would actually be quite happy myself.

Also, Jets have a better running game (kinda goes back to O-line). But it'll be uberclose. I think the teams are even.

I'd give them that, on paper.  They haven't had to block against a team with an actual pass rush in the last two weeks, though, whereas the Steelers' line had to handle Baltimore.  I don't see Sanchez having the same pocket he did this week which for him, in a game this big, could present problems.  Ben, on the other hand, is used to making plays, in huge games, while running for his life.

I agree, but the O-Line is more than just better on paper. It plays better. They probably have the second best center in the game this season.

They are really outmatched at QB. I don't like Ben, but he's much better than Sanchez especially at extending plays.
