If James Jones doesn't drop the pass at the end of the first half the Packers lead 21-3 at halftime and Philly never comes back to make it close. It's fun to play the "if" game.

Then don't play the if game. The Packers won by 5 points. That doesn't tell me that they're clearly the better team. It tells me that they're pretty evenly matched.

The playoffs certainly expose the teams that should not be there......Saints, too banged up cannot go into any playoff with your 3rd string running backs and expect to win...it was a respectable score regardless 41-36.
KC...was the exposed team for sure, Baltimore showed them they did not belong.
My surprise game was Philly....I did expect them to win. Now what we need is for Atlanta to fall from grace, but homefield advatnage means so much in the NFL.
I do expect the Seahawks to give daBears a game but I think they fall short.....I expect Hasselback will spend a lot of time on his 'back'.

I don't think that's the case for KC. They just came up really flat in the second half IMO. I think they're a good team. The Ravens don't really impress me.

Loosing 30-7 they only showed up for 1 quarter...and at home.
Go Seahawks!!! (my 2nd fav team...)

I'm not denying that they played poorly. I'm just saying that I find them to be a good team.

Agree.....regular season means nothing now.....Lets see how they bounce back next year. Like my Saints they now can go back and watch video and make changes where needed.

I do think it was a pretty even match, the Pack and the Eagles were both just as likely to come out on top.

Obviously, I'd love to see Pittsburgh win but doing it in Dallas would make it all that much sweeter. Steelers Nation overrunning the home of "America's Team" (*rolls eyes*) would be awesome. Hopefully, we get to face the Packers now since the hated Eagles are out. Have to think Pittsburgh vs Green Bay is the remaining matchup option Jerry Jones would be most pissed off at having to host.

As long as I'm hallucinating, Packers win over Atlanta, Seahawks win over Chicago, NFC championship game is played here in Seattle. That would be a sweet game, given how many times them Seahawks have been trounced in Green Bay.

Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

A guy I know was talking about placing $100 down on the Seahawks to win the Super Bowl. He said that if he did he would win $10,000 on that bet. I jokingly told him to just give me the $100 and that I would give him the $10,000 when the Seahawks won. He ended up not making that bet, but when I saw him today, he asked me where his $10,000 was. I'll still be totally shocked if it happens, but I also would never be able to live it down if they do win it all.

I could see them beating the Bears and getting to .500 ( ) but I don't think they'd get past either Atlanta or Green Bay.

I know. Like the Steelers v Seahawks SB in 2005. So boring. I mean you obviously enjoyed it, but as an impartial viewer it sucked. Pats will be in the superbowl though.

Tom Brady is eventually going to have a bad game, let it be soon before James Harrison has to draw another big fine.
