So let me get this straight. People still actually care about which artists are on PA and which are not?
Hard to believe, especially since it's so easy to come up with an objective definition of Prog. And, of course, it's vital that we come up with that definition. Also, vital that we don't listen to things that we decided we don't like.
What is the world coming to?

Well, think of it like this. You go to this website about this weird prog thing and you see the artist Bjork on the front page of it. I think that would turn people away from not only this website but also progressive rock as a whole.

Regardless of the fact that I find her more irritating that a mains powered squeaky toy, Bjork's output is certainly eclectic and experimental (but then so are Jane Siberry and PJ Harvey I guess)
Given the current climate for additions on PA, were the Radical Prog Party to run for election I suspect they would lose their deposit. We are way too far down the inclusive road now for a U turn methinks. I believe PA will continue to mutate into a repository for all kinds of interesting, innovative and experimental rock music and whether we like it or not, the Prog hard-liners will suffer the same fate as the dinosaurs they gaze lovingly on behind the glass case.
If we're forced to choose, give me a zoo over a museum any day.

Like Bjork - just never considered her in my narrow little definition of prog. Certainly cutting edge and unique, but not progressive rock in my opinion. I don't think it makes much difference if she's in or not. Now let's talk Yoko...
