Sounds petty on the NFL part.

Sounds stupid on Moss' part. It's standard policy for the NFL to require players to speak to the media; it's just part of the job.

He shouldn't be such a headcase.

EDIT: The Vikings are just falling apart. They give up a 3rd round pick for 2 losses worth of production. What a pathetic move.

Oh....my.....God......Pat.......what the flying F were they thinking, anyway?    Can anyone explain how a team can have so much talent on paper and screw up this bad?

Oh well, season is pretty much over.  Still, I did have fun watching Brett last year.  It was one bad pass from going to the Super Bowl.  Not bad for an old fart.

Well I don't like Chilly, and I think the organization is pretty poorly managed.

Some of it is simply regression though. No way would Favre be able to repeat the year he had last year. That alone accounts for a lot. The D-line struggles are baffling this season though.

Yeah, Favre should not be THAT much of a surprise. If it didn't happen now, it was bound to later.
Pat is right about the Vikings D-Line. They have 3.5 sacks TOTAL between their 4 starters. Not only terrible but unexplainable. I rarely believe in distractions, but I wonder if this year was just too much...combined with a woeful coach.

And this year is surprising for the Vikings but as for teams loaded with talent that are disappointing, the Chargers and Cowboys take the cake, every year.

The talent on the Cowboys is overstated. They have an old, worthless O-line for one.

As for the current game, the Colts defense are actually bringing some heat!? Shocked

Though to absolutely NO surprise the Colts can't stop the run. The Texans are falling behind but I hope they can keep pounding the run.
I am still not sold on the Texans yet. They are at Indy, down 2 touchdowns and the Colts are severely beat up.
Houston has a great offense and players of D.
Lets see if they can come back and win. Gain some of my respect Houston.

Well that can't be denied, the O-Line is old and those who aren't are just not that good.
Alex Barron??? Really, the guy who was a bust on the Rams and was the 2nd most penalized player (behind Flozell of course). Beautiful pick up Jerry Jones...

They may not be able to pass protect for their life but they should be able to run block, and they have 3 good backs. Not that it matters since they pass 70% of the time and its mainly -5 to 2 yard passes (despite their receiving corps) and their star studded defense doesn't even look like they're playing.
It starts with Jones and ends with the individual players.

The crap just trickles down all the way to the bottom Wink

The Colts are down to their #4 Running Back at the moment

Javarris James (younger brother of Edgerrin James!?)
One thing I have to give the Colts credit for...they have depth.

I understand...but to Moss's point leave him alone if he doesn't want to talk, is it written in his contract that he must?
I mean why don't they go bug a def lineman or a punter or a kicker or a off guard/center.......why pick on him? Because the media is overrated bunch of looser writers who only want to dig up trash....

Hopefully he goes to a team and helps them win games.

Because people want to hear about the future hall of famer who just weeks prior returned to the team which originally drafted him and who had just played the team which traded him 4 weeks ago? Seems like a more interesting interview to me then talking to a gunner on the Punt coverage team.

Yes it is in his contract. They're required to address the media after a game.

Interviewer: So Mr Moss, how does it feel being back on the Vikings who originally drafted you?
Moss: Feels fine
Interviewer: How do you feel about playing the team who just traded you couple weeks ago?
Moss: I dunno
Interviewer: Mr Moss how do you feel about Brett Favre?
Moss: who?

So you're implying that interviewers should never question a coach/player?

Besides, you can't even attempt to claim Randy Moss would answer the questions in such a normal, sane manner.

Too bad the Bills couldn't have tied the Chiefs. They could have ended up 0-15-1

That'd be so great
And technically not a total failure. It's not like the lost every game!

And wow, I knew this whole Favre thing would become a mess, and adding Moss would only be worse but who saw all this coming?
What a total wreck.

No, it's too bad the Bills didn't tie the Ravens then the Chiefs.  They could've ended up 0-14-2.

Damn, they really should've beaten the Baltimore Browns

It will be interesting.
The whole NFL is very balanced right now.

God knows what'll happen but if things continue it looks the NFC south could send 3 teams to the playoffs.
Giants do have a favorable non conference schedule (Seahawks, Jags, Vikings) and of course the Cowboys and Redskins are really no fear to me whatsoever.
Just like a few years back I am a mix of very hopeful and very worried.

Playing at Seattle today.

Everyone is talking about how loud it is there and how the stadium is, but the Giants have never the road phase them.
Also, Hasslebeck is out. So that's a big help. LOL
