So a lot of people (fans and players) are quite upset about this all.

Talk about this will fundamentally change the game and remove the inherent violence of it.
Speak of "how can they take away hard hits?"

I think people are overworrying/getting confused. It's not like they're saying "you can't hit hard" and its not like EVERY tackle is one of those blatant helmet to helmet hits. Will doing this really sap all the violence out of the game? I find it hard to believe.

Had the Steelers/Phins game on the radio (thats what we get when the G-men and Jets dont play? lol)
As well as ESPN news.

Oakland Raiders....WHAT!?

Chiefs top the woeful Jaguars
The Bills (which I think may be the worst physical team in the NFL) was this close to beating the Ravens?!

Sounds like quite a day.

Very sloppy yet entertaining SNF game. I love seeing Favre lose.

I got a large amount of pleasure from seeing Favre lose, yes.

Also, what exactly was the "controversial" ending to the Phins game? And honestly, did the refs pretty much give to the Steelers.
I have no clue what happened.

I don't know I was watching the Eagles get pwned at the time.

Ah.

Suppose I'll comb the internet then.

Also here's to the G-men putting the Cowboys season away already!

!

And yet again
Oakland Raiders
WHAT!?

At least McFadden is finally having a good year. I was starting to question of he was actually any good, and not just stuck in the black hole...

And my god...

That interview with Favre was painful.
What an honestly defeated sounding man...

I think this settles it. He finally made one comeback too many.

Was originally ruled a TD but on further review:
- Ben fumbled into the endzone
- It could not be determined who had recovered the ball
This therefor made it Steelers' ball 4th and goal at the 1/2 yard line

For the second consecutive week the secondary has looked like sh*t, though, which concerns me going forward.

Ah.

Speaking of receivers burning secondaries, glad to see Kenny Britt have a big day.

His quarterbacks are Vince Young and Kerry Collins, good times are sure to end soon enough

Yeah the Eagles tried covering him with a Hobbian style defense.

Leave him wide open and hope he drops the ball.

I did not see Favre's after game interview......was he really that bad?? I told a buddy of mine I thought Favre would leave the game before season ends....and now with this personal "issue" he has going on...dunno...does he retire early??

Is it me or are receivers doing a krappy job this year with dropping perfectly thrown balls this year?

I guess I need to watch the replay....if the ball was fumbled in the endzone would it not have been either a TD for Pitts or a touchback for Miami?? Someone had to recover the ball right??? Am I missing something?

Offenses can't advance the ball forward into the end zone for a touchdown.  That is why the ball was placed where Ben fumbled the ball.

The replay I saw this morning showed 2 Dolphins to be the first to fall on the ball in the end zone before the Steelers and other Dolphins piled on top.  The replay they showed this morning didn't actually show who came out of the pile with the ball.  I am not sure why they determined that the Steelers should get the ball.
