It's Paul from Dune! He looks a bit Peter Hammillian though. LOL

The Final Cut  should by no means be the lowest rated Floyd album, maybe Momentary Lapse but TFC is really really good.

thumbs down for both of them Thumbs Down although MLoR have Sorrow in it, on the bad side, it sounds like 80's pop. on the good side, it doesnt have Water's singing LOL

i'd stick with Meddle and Animals Thumbs Up

Hey, I kinda like a lot of Momentary Lapse....One Slip? On the Turning Away? And say what you will, but Learning to Fly ain't a bad song.

yeah but animals he sings like 30% of the time and he actually sings, instead of the "spoken word" like in TFC, face it, he's not really signing, he's telling a story with a bit of tempo and occasional screams. Big smile

TFC has been the only floyd album i can stand :S

Waters vocals on TFC are one of it's strongest points, I think. Thumbs Up

Eh, I'm not overly interested in PF past Dark Side of the Moon.  I have The Division Bell, and let me tell you, to me that album is incredibly SleepyDead.  I'll stick with early era stuff such as AHM and Meddle. Thumbs Up

Lyrically, The Final Cut is almost certainly the strongest PF album.

^ Very true.

I'm really enjoying Bass Communion, maybe I like ambient and didn't notice it.

Has anybody noticed that Toby Driver (Kayo Dot/Maudlin of the Well) and Chino Moreno (Deftones) have very similar vocal styles?

^ I gotta check that out soon! Right now, I'm listening to Sepulcros de Miel by the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Quartet.  Quite good spacey-rock/jazz/funk. Wink
