Alien for sure -- great and creepy horror film.  Alien 3 is my second favourite.  Aliens is my least favourite (yeah, too much just an action film for my tastes).  Alien 4 was a disappointment because I already loved the director's work when I saw it, and that just paled in comparison.  Sill, not bad.  I do like the cast, and Brad Dourif is commonly a plus for me.

I totally enjoyed Aliens, but yeah much more of an action movie.

One of those I had to go see at the theater when it opened.

Alien is the only one that really provoked a sense of "wonder" in me.

I've got the super deluxe edition with all of the main ones and director's cuts. It doesn't have any of the predator ones. If I'm in the urge to watch an alien, I keep to the director's versions.  The s.d.e. was soaked by the flood but he DVDs still function.

No Alex. Love to get it.  I'd like the most gourmet version possible with lots of Alien  "easter" eggs.

Incidentally, I haven't seen Aliens vs, Predator Requiem, but I can't imagine it would have anywhere near the impact that Alien had on me.

And for fun:

Original Alien by Ridley Scott. Clap
It's great both as a sci-fi movie and a horror movie!

'Aliens' is a decent action movie and the two others just money collecting for some people.  Thumbs Down
Don't panic

^ There isn't going to be any AvP any more. They're doing Alien prequels now with Ridley Scott back on the directorial seat Thumbs Up

I think it's humans vs. predators though...

Alien is fantastic.

Aliens
was a huge disappointment, so I haven't bothered with the rest. Sigorney Weaver surrounded by american male stereotype idiots, that I recognize from those retarded 80's teen comedies. You know who's gonna die and when, and I couldn't care less about any of them. Just as predictable as any other slasher movie.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

My thoughts entirely.  The first was a fantastic film, so edgy and genuinely scary, but for me Aliens is even better.  It does indeed rock, big time.  Bill Paxton is hilarious too LOL.

I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by Alien3. Not an action flick, but a dark, gothic thriller, with an adequate director. Which is why "the fans" hate it LOL

"Alien" is an all-time great film, probably in my top 10.  "Aliens," however, is the greatest action film ever made.

There are no other Alien films, I don't know what you're talking about.

Also, I prefer the original version of "Alien," but far prefer the special edition of "Aliens."

Aliens is my favourite, followed by the first film which is also excellent.

Which one had Winona Ryder in it? 3 or 4? Whatever, it was utter bullsh*t. I took a girl to the cinema to see it, on a date (her choie of film, before you ask) and I fell asleep half way through, which didn't go down to well, she took it personally for some reason..so, I have bad memories of that film.. lol
Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

I once new a guy whose girlfriend fell asleep during sex.  Ouch! OuchLOL  Never happened too me because of course I am way too exciting in bed.  Now that I'm married the problem is trying to the wife up for.  She never has that problem me dagnabbit. Tongue

Winona was in Resurrection.  I've been working my way through the series and that one's up for next.  Even though I liked Alienses (Saturday Night Live did a sketch called that I believe), I quit going to see the movies in the theater when they came out for no particular reason.  I think numbers three and four had a much shorter run and less publicity.
