I think the correct pronunciation is somewhere between 'zurl' and 'zoil', - there's a rather tricky diphthong in the middle - but I agree that in liver performance it tends to come out more like 'zool'.

In my mind I also say "zool" even though it's wrong, I also say "Universe Zero" and "Present" in English instead of pronouncing them correctly. And I don't even give an F

Being the conceited guy I am, I always say them in the French way. It confuses people and that's always good.
