Seeing the trend, I say Slayer should be next. |

And at this point, I think I am ultimately destroyed and defeated, for I am laughing way too hard. |

Not such a ridiculous addition. UB40 bettered the last 8 minutes of VdGG's Meurglys III.

Leonard Cohen, because he's made some pretty long songs.

INXS because they...wait, I can't finger-point one reason why should they be in PA. It makes more sense to add Celine Diaaargh!

Lady Gaga. Her outfits alone make her progressive, plus Faith No More covered Pokerface, and Mike Patton is in several bands that are already on PA!
In other words, Lady Gaga should be on PA because Mr. Bungle is on PA. (If that's not the best "if band X is here, then band Y should be here too" comparison ever, I'll eat my shoes. ) |

Thunderclap Newman for neo-prog. Their greatest hit appeared on an album by a prog artist (on Fish's album Internal Exile).

Fish did a duet with Sam Brown, who should be in Prog-Related.

The Four Tops should be added to Proto-Prog. The four-part harmonies of Motown were an obvious influence on prog bands such as Yes and Gentle Giant.

The Ink Spots, because they're more prog than The Four Tops.

Jose Feliciano because in 1968 he played the very first non-traditional version of the Star Spangled Banner live before a national audience before Game 5 of the World Series between Detroit and St. Louis. He almost threw his budding career away, as radio stations quit playing his songs following this performance.
