Subject: Ridiculous Band Additions

Ever wonder what it would be like if Prog Archives had no restrictions on what bands could be added...?
Make your fantastic suggestions here!
I suggest that Jonas Brothers be added for their effective usage of replacing looks for their music!! thats prog yes?

Lady Gaga. Her outfits alone make her progressive, plus Faith No More covered Pokerface, and Mike Patton is in several bands that are already on PA!
In other words, Lady Gaga should be on PA because Mr. Bungle is on PA.
(If that's not the best "if band X is here, then band Y should be here too" comparison ever, I'll eat my shoes. )

Meshuggah covered/was blended with a Lady Gaga song too.
The Four Tops should be added to Proto-Prog. The four-part harmonies of Motown were an obvious influence on prog bands such as Yes and Gentle Giant.

Jose Feliciano because in 1968 he played the very first non-traditional version of the Star Spangled Banner live before a national audience before Game 5 of the World Series between Detroit and St. Louis. He almost threw his budding career away, as radio stations quit playing his songs following this performance.

Bauhaus, because Peter Murphy once made an album with Mick Karn. Plus Bauhaus covered a song by David Bowie who should be here because he's Eno-Related. Which means that Iggy Pop & The Stooges should also be added.

although this would open the door to Babs, as she once sang a song with Donna.
I once heard a Donna Summer song that was very progressive, but I can't remember it's name.
Wasn't it "love to love you baby" ? Her pseudo orgasmatic tunes reminds in a way Iren Papas' singing in "Infinity" from Aphrodite's child's 666 so that is progressive, isn't it ?

And also because Geoff Downes of the Buggles played in Asia, Yes and White and produced GTR, and they are all here.
And because he was once married to a woman named Wenche.
And because Steve Hackett also played in GTR and with Genesis, and Phil Collins played in Genesis and also appeared in the animated film Balto with Kavin Bacon which gives Downes a Bacon rating of N+3.

Crass. Their ultra-left theories, feminist ideas, anti-capitalist rhethoric, anarchist ideals made them ultra-progressive. And the music, too.
Ministry: they created the Industrial Metal genre, so they are innovative precursors, that makes them a progressive band.
Same thing for Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, SPK, Esplendor Geometrico.

Weird Al Yankovic, because "Genius in France" is a tribute to Frank Zappa (with Dweezil Zappa on guitar.) Also, "Genius in France", "Albuquerque", and "Trapped in the Drive-Thru" are 9 minutes, 11.5 minutes, and 11 minutes respectively. The accordion isn't exactly a conventional pop instrument either.
