The internet is a crazy thing. On one hand, there are great sites like wikipedia that can enrich your life. On the other hand, it can maek you be dis cool. lolspeak FTW

My mate doesn't get online often any more but when she texts me it's usually in some weird cross-bred l33t/normal/her own style and I often wonder what on earth she's talking about. LOL

It took me ages to work out what wubu2 meant. LOLEmbarrassed

I thought she was saying wub u 2 (like love you 2) but that's lu2 apparently. LOL

Then I realised it meant What You Been Up To.

Then I realised that's grammatically bad as well and it should be What Have You Been Up Too and therefore whubu2.

I don't ever plan to either.

That's the thing, I just don't go on those type of sites.  I usually end up reading about random stuff on Wikipedia and then wishing I had a proper Encyclopaedia written by people who know what they're talking about and doesn't change every time you read it.

That's one thing I must do: buy an Encyclopaedia

It also amuses me how they chose Rick Astley who I don't believe was that familiar to an American audience.  It's certainly boosted his career (but not sales).
