Mamma non piangere have an odd sense of humour... but they're making me laugh in so many different ways.

So that's good.

What type of stuff would you compare them to?  I like odd humour.

Well it's in French and Italian for starters.

They play around with different genres and mess about a lot.  It's difficult to really say what they sound like.

This article was posted elsewhere on PA http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=61470 but interestingly the day after I asked my question about PT.  Apparently, PT have charted in the top 25 there in England.  But being an English band, it is probable that they would be better known in England than here in the USA?

It means they're extremely well known in England, and well known elsewhere.

Don't understand why the article says "unknown to mainstream audiences". Makes me wonder what mainstream means then in the UK.

A university leader has caused controversy by saying curvy female students are a "perk of the job".

Male professors are male, shocking, I know.

Heard a few songs off the new Alice in Chains album....totally kicked ass. The vocals on the first couple songs sound JUST like Layne.

I heard it's up for streaming, hope I'll have time tomorrow... The four songs I've heard have indeed kicked some ass.

Definitely buying that one. As well as the new Hiromi Uehara album...not waiting for the 2010 US release. Dead

I placed an order with Amazon yesterday for a few CDs including Incident and the new Alice In Chains.  I'm looking forward to both.

Lyrically or musically?

Speaking of them, I haven't heard'em in a while. Excellent band though!
