Murray was good enough to silence Roger before - and Roger was rarely weak to just cave in to Murray so repeatedly.

This was simply half of a disaster. The second set ended nicely, but Murray rarely managed more than a point on Federer's games. The first set was an absolute disaster, Murray did awful.

As I said, Murray needs to be consistent with his first (and second) serve.  When he plays at his best, he can beat anyone.

well if anything ... the Open will be an interesting one this year.  I agree with Tennis.com's article... there are 8 people with real good chances to win it.

My dark horse (though he is hardly that) is Del Potro.

if I was to lay money....  Rafa... he's shown he can win on hard courts.. and he is fresh.. hungry.. and getting the needed matches in to get match conditioned. Some of those shots last night against Berdych.. wow... he is the only man on tour that can do that.  Such quickness and spin on that forehand.

Glad to see you're too reading Bodo, Tignor or Perrota on Tennis.com Clap
I didn't catch that "8 contenders" article though...

I think the Open can evolve towards Rafa making the final, with a struggle. I don't think it's the time - or the shape - for him to win, though. Would be nice indeed - Rafa always got tired at the 4th Slam, after a season of wonders. If his recovery was better (I think he plays so-so right now), he would indeed turn karma back for him - and roar at the US.

We shall see. I hope it will be a good Slam, as always, but don't see the favourites falling short in a bad manner. I can't bet anything on Nole or Murray.

nope not even a cyber-buck on him.....   funny thing is....  you have to think the Open is praying  that Rafa and Roger aren't put in the same half of the draw since Murray will be the 2 seed.  Those two have revitalized tennis and would be a dream match-up again in the final (possibly of course)

think the temptation to do a bit of sleight of hand might be pretty high LOL

anyway... time for METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!   Have a good night everyone..

Poland's Wlodarczyk breaks the Hammer Throw record (not even being among the favourites), then suffers a strain while jumping with joy. Confused

lulz

I'm currently reading about peoples opinions of Final Fantasy XII.

I've not played it but people seem to either love or hate it.  Some say it's the best RPG ever, others the worst.

At least people generally seem to think Xenogears is good.  I'm going to start playing that soon.

Shouldn't you finish Baldur's Gate 2 first? ;-) I'm about to go to SPELLHOLD, but I'm stuck trying to scrape together enough experience to get Jan to level up so I can Death Fog the damn mindflayers before I leave Athlatka for a long time.
