Dead

I'll buy the album, and probably will enjoy it, but I just hate that this is a given.

Actually, you never know, HoL enjoys a very strong following.

I've not heard the sample, but if this album is anything like Insurgentes, I will not be merciful and will gladly send it in the direction of Simon Railton.

Surprised you were so down on that one Robert, our tastes have been similar on many albums.  I thought Insurgentes more wonderful than any recent PT.  Smile

Out of 224 reviews, I think only like 12 are one star, but I honestly felt cheated in shelling out 18 bucks for Insurgentes and hearing what I did.  It has two modes: boring and noise.

Well, it's a thing I'll have to live with. Alone against everybody.

I really, really, really must get around to listening to Thick As A Brick again.  I haven't listened to it in a long time and although I thought it was OK, it never said top prog album to me.  I much prefer their "Greatest hits" material.  Of course, I keep saying that and yet I still don't get around to listening to it.  And Wish You Were Here as the top Pink Floyd album is puzzling to me too.  It is an album that I really like, but it might be my 5th or 6th favorite Pink Floyd album.

Oh yeah... LOL

Looking through the list now. I see a section of my review for Opeth's Still Life was pasted with it on the list. Big smile

I guess I should give myself more credit for some of my older reviews. I guess they weren't half-bad after all. LOL

Glad to see Tago Mago fairly high up on the list.

Wrong, Delirium's album is magic.  If no one knows that, that's their problemWink

There's lots of great Italian stuff all the time.  But no one will make the splash Il Bacio della Medusa did last year, I'm sure of that.  Finishing #2 for them was just amazing.
