No. But it depends on the context. In a classical (and non-neo-classical) setting the previous statement is factual, and your personal taste is not withstanding.

I was just going to ask you, I saw you were listening to it Big smile I love it, one of my favorites this year. My first Townsend album so far, I did briefly test Terria the other day but I didn't like it half as much yet.

I love it too; I'll definitely have to hear it more.

Terria is good, but it hasn't fully even hit me yet, and I've heard it 3 times. I've heard Ziltoid the most; I'd say either go with that or the debut (Ocean Machine).

Yes, you do.

Glad to see Bela on your signature though. I love the Flecktones. Big smile

BOTH are used on Lunar Strain by In Flames.
They may be generic main stream sh*t now. But those first 3 albums, (esp the first 2 are GOLD!)

Still only have the one album, but I'll probably be getting more soon as I can. Never thought I'd like the banjo as anything more than a mere novelty. LOL

I've been listening to the more modern side of progressive music for quite a while now and yesterday I returned to the more vintage side of things with some Camel and Gentle Giant. I think I'm going to listen to The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway on my way to work (or some of it, luckily it doesn't take so long to get to work). I just listed it as the third best Genesis album but I think I may be wrong...
