Onto:

This a great album, I have 4 Marillion albums and this one wth Fugazi are my favs. I still have not heard the album that I think E Dub uses for his avatar. I know someone doesWinkConfused

Not a "true" Marillion fan, but Script is definitely a masterpiece and I held it very high in my collection. Fugazi is decent for me, though I can see why others can like it.

Have you checked out the bands Pendragon and IQ?

No I have heard of Pendragon but never really heard any of their work. IQ is another unknown for me. I always use this thread because it is a great filter for me for the newer albums and the ones that have been around a while just by seeing how many times the albums are played. If a member plays one constantly I get curious.  I am really only a casual fan but what I have I do like. I am not down on eighties prog. Whats the best  albums in your opinion of these 2 bandsSmile

Well well the parcel man came early ,only 9 am here and guess what he left. Yep country music. Essential stuff for an old git like me...........anyway been keen on this one arriving. Played the other 2 sets I have and they are great. This is George in top form. The first of the Tammy Wynette duets are on this also the Gene Pitney ones as well. The singles from the music in these box sets had been in the singles charts 80 times with 9 number 1sSmile

From Pendragon check The Masquerade Overture. From IQ, The Wake is good but the production and vocals are so-so. While their newer albums are more Symphonic, so not sure.

The Pendragon is a must though, if you liked that from Marillion.

When I was 13 to 14 I used to wag school and go to a mates place and drink beer with a few others. Anyway his brother had  a reel to reel deck and there was 2 choices to choose. Joe Cocker or The Rolling Stones , High Tide and Green Grass. I have heard these 2 albums that many timesLOL Anyway played Cocker yesterday and loved it so giving it another play
