I'm kinda ashamed to say that this is my first time listening to the album, but (who cares) better now than never... :|

As for me:

Candlebox are actually playing in Port Huron on July 16th as part of the Boats Balloons and BBQ Festival.  I think that it is in coordination with the Port Huron to Mackinac Island race.  I will actually be on Mackinac Island that day however, so I will miss it.  They are also doing a Pink Floyd laser spectacle as part of the BBBBQ Festival.

Ending the workday on a Moroccan Roll.
Brand X - Moroccan Roll CD Cover Art
On a funny note, the original back album cover shows the guys passing around a joint.  For the CD issue they faded that picture out so you can't tell.  I would say what appears to be a joint, but why fade it out for the CD? Sure it could be a hand rolled cigarette, but I don't think so.  Also on another funny note, my brother took the LP to an album signing appearance when Genesis was on town for the Duke tour.  Either by mistake or just to be funny Tony Banks signed it.  LOL

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

Are they doing anything new?

That debut was smoking hot when it came out, but the follow-up, Lucy, just took the wind out of their sails.

Mackinac Island? I watched an episode of Dirty Jobs on Discovery and Mike Rowe was helping with the maintenance of that huge suspension bridge that connects the island. Man, what a job that is!

They released a new album last summer titled Into the Sun.  I haven't heard it yet, so I don't know anything about it.

The bridge actually connects the lower peninsula with the upper peninsula.  The only way to Mackinac Island is by boat.  We are actually staying in Mackinaw City, but will probably make at least one trip over to the island.

I know Pearl Jam's original drummer, Dave Krusen, played with them for a bit.
