I don't know his music and from first looks he seems like he's just obnoxiously weird, but I have seen a couple interviews of him and he is actually very articulate and intelligent sounding.

I just saw at CD Universe that a new album is coming out if there are any fans out there.
Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

I really, really, hate Jack off Jill. I think that's only because I had some girl come up to me and tell me it the most amazing band ever, got me to listen to it and I didn't quite find it to be the best band ever.

Completely indifferent.  I do actually have some in my collection in the form of a couple of tracks on the Lost Highway soundtrack.  The interview Michael Moore did with him on Bowling For Columbine was rather interesting, though.

Now, NIN is a completely different matter...
