That'll make 2 StarStarStarStar ratings, if I finally write something about it too.

I'm not the biggest fan of electro-prog, but watching one man construct an entire soundscape like that from nothing is really an amazing sight - not to mention the second disc is just packed with goodies

I actually haven't watched the second disc yet. LOL

I'm sure he programmed a part of the music before the concert, and presumably played the un-sequenced music, and further settings out live.

Gojira's second album actually isn't that much of a disappointment so far.

I may get that Magma box yet...

A question: does Konhtarkosz come in an ungainly 2-CD Dual Case?  Mine is broken.

All are single CDs except for Kobaia and the Archiw set, and they're all very nice digipaks.

Oh wait, maybe I mean Kobaia.

Glad it's a digipak though.  The double dual-case is ungainly. Ouch

I presume the two Retrospektiw's don't come with the boxset?

Unfortunately they do not.  I intend to order Retro I-II and Live/Hhai on CD at some point, and that shall be the extent of my Magma collection on CD (I have more downloaded from emusic, but nothing I feel strongly about to replicate on CD).

Clap

The first one on the other hand left me confused. Although I've only heard it twice so far, so that could be why.

I mean, this is definitely NOT their last two albums at all, but it's not near as bad as I was expecting.

I'll listen to their debut eventually.
