My last.fm thing is so messed up. Considering up until now the last time I used it was about 2 years ago.

There's a little too much obsession with Henry Cow on Progarchives these days.

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Hahaha, you can talk, you don't own any of the HC albums on CD yourself, Alex.

Which CD?
I just started Living in the Heart of the Beast on 1974-5. |
Later and Post-Virgin
|
Oh, okay. I'll be there soon enough.

Apart from VdGG, HC, pH, Wyatt, Magma and Soft Machine, my last.fm list isn't that representative of my tastes. Actually, Teenbeat 2 reminds me of Soft Machine.

Yes but I really don't listen to much music during the day. Especially not on the laptop. I play my music at night and I get tired.
So I usually play one or two albums a night.

Oh, okay.
Excluding the times I play music on the stereo in the basement, on my CD player, or in the car... otherwise, they've been played on my last.fm.
|
You also have more than me and Soft Machine is definitely in my top favorite bands.
|
I love Soft Machine, but their placement on my last.fm is pretty accurate. Only... my tastes have changed since 2005, so my top artists are representative for the past 3+ years... but not necessarily for my current preferences.

Plus most of my CDs are in the other room and so I end up playing what's on my harddrive and that is usually lesser artists or bands.

Ah, that makes sense.
