Do you actually not listen to Yes, or is it so brain-dead obvious that you would that recommending them would be stupid?  Wink

Echoing others here, start with H to He from VdGG, KC's debut and the three Wetton era albums, and fill out your GG collection.

Of all the Yes albums I have only heard Fragile. But you're right I really need to get some more of them too!
 
But yeah. The goal seems clear so far, get Genesis albums, VDGG albums, Yes albums, King Crimson albums, Gentle Giant albums......That should have me occupied for some time I should think!!

It will provide you an excellent foundation of the classics, though.  Happy listening!

Dont forget Jethro Tull - they are basic too
Prog is whatevey you want it to be. So dont diss other peoples prog, and they wont diss yours

For Rush fans, two bands that I always like to recommend are Fates Warning and Tiles.  Fates Warning are kind of a cross between Rush and Dream Theater.  Their albums are produced by Terry Brown who produced many of Rush's earlier albums, and I find there to be some similiarities in the sound of the drums. 
 
Tiles are a band from my state of Michigan, who have been compared at times with Rush, although bassist Jeff Whittle suggested that this was only on their first album in his interview here on PA.  They also use Terry Brown as their producer, and their most recent album, Fly Paper, includes guest appearances from Alex Lifeson and Rupert Hines. 
 
That said, in reading the previous posts, I would have to agree with previous posters that it probably would also be a good idea to explore the earlier albums of the founding fathers of prog.

As someone mentioned founding fathers, check out Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn, and the Crazy World of Arthur Brown. Also Tull's Stand Up.
 
For guitar-dominated stuff there's Wishbone Ash (try Argus) and I defy you Wink not to appreciate Camels the Snow Goose and You by Gong.
