BALTIMORE, MD. -- A Baltimore man is suing his parents for conceiving him as a white male.

This week, a federal judge refused to toss out the lawsuit, setting up a trial for October.

Dustin Campy, 33, is accusing his parents of giving birth to him as a white male instead of another race. Dustin claims that people of other races get benefits such as free doctor’s visits and payment for their jobs “under the table” to avoid taxes.

”Other people can come into our country and get off paying for things because they are not a citizen,” quotes Dustin. “I want all the money back that I had to pay over the years. I’m putting the blame on my parents for bringing me into the world as a caucasian who has to abide by everything.”

He is seeking more than $300,000 in damages for medical bills and taxes that he had to pay over the course of his life.

Dustin’s parents would not release an official statement at this time.

U.S. District Judge Gary Wibes said that a jury should decide the matter.

Perhaps the guy is just making a point in public; although I certainly agree that the judge should have proceeded no further.

Is this just a statement that our western "liberal" societies may have gone too far and are now shackling some of their citizens with freedom.  I do have some sympathies for this chap because myself as a white male in  the UK who has never been out of work, never defrauded an insurance company and never committed serious crime; I get to pay full taxes and insurance on everything and get no benefits or rebates from anyone.

I appreciate that this is part of the cost of having social security and a welfare state but when I see some of the ludicrous welfare schemes that some of my tax goes on it does give me pause for thought.

Like when a bunch of itinerant thieves break into the preserved railway that I volunteer on and steal a lorry full of metal for scrap.  They are caught red handed on our property, having broken a lock off a gate and with their vehicle loaded with our property and then our taxes pay for legal aid to get them off the charge.  Needless to say they have since been caught and charged again for a similar offence.
When people get lost in thought it's often because it's unfamiliar territory.

On the other issue you're talking about...the welfare problem, I think I agree with you though I don't have a lot of "real-world" experience there (just a college student); when there's an easy way to get around working, there are folks who will take it, whether or not it is fair to others and to the system (especially when there are bitter feelings toward both).

I remember reading a newspaper story from the US, where a woman threw water over her male partner then turned and slipped on the water..unbelievably she won her case and around $200,000.

Holy christ................only in a country where around 80% of people believe in god, thus living by the ten commandments, but want to bear arms, and feel free to shoot to kill ?????????? (Thou shall not kill).

Anyone wanna explain that one?

Hey Michael, what is really going on here is that Dustin has a point to prove and this sub-par judge is sympathetic to his point. What is really stupid is that some people actually think being non-caucasion gives you some kind of advantage in the states, ha ha ha.

Well, if one believes that electioneering is zero calorie solution politicking, and they simplify it by going " O.K., this country has been run into the ground by White Anglo Saxon Males, and this same bunch is now going to throw $700 billion to bail out another bunch of White Anglo Saxon Males , I would figure most would think, A Black Guy for President ? Can't be any worse, eh ...
Anyone with an Economics degree that can tell me why giving this money to families and individuals with incomes under $100 000 wouldn't be more productive ? After all, the justification for the never ending tax cuts to the rich is that they'' go out and spend it, therefore priming the economic pump.
Oh, wait, maybe it's that the concept of "Trickle Up" is not acceptable to those who've benefited from  the Trickle Down theory, and have no wish to share the wealth, no matter how immorally or unethically gained.
In other words, those who have enough to invest bit time in the markets, should not expect to enjoy the higher Financial rewards that come with higher risk investments without ever enjoying the flipside - ya know - the risk part, where you actually lose money ...

Hey, there's a guy in Michigan who once found a lawyer to sue dairy companies as he found Milk to be addictive. The case was thrown out after the first hearing.

I once had an order to recover 5 buses from a guy who bought them.

  1. The order was signed by a judge
  2. The act was peaceful and done with the help of the police in order to respect the rights of both parts.
  3. The buses were found whith false plates (So the guy knew there was an order against the buses)
  4. The guy had only paid two months in two years (was missing 22 months, plus the double payent of July and December), then he stopped paying with the excuse that his business was bad.

I was still sued for attempting against hs freedom of work, because I ordered the capture of his work instruments

Luckily the DA was an honest guy who was offered money by this criminal and rejected it, he also declared there was no case against me because I was acting by order of a judge and in use of a legal right, and sued the guy for attempt of bribery.

Its easy bitch and moan about the system that has certain miscreants who find ways to abuse it until you need that same system and it bails you out.  I have no sympathy for douchebags like the guy in the story who further drain on the system buy looking for someone else to blame for their problems.  Suck it up, sit down, shut up, open a Bud, watch some NASCAR, pay your taxes and enjoy the freedom you just bought!

Note: This is directed purely toward the subject of the story (and like-minded), not any previous poster in the thread.

One thing that I always wonder is how correct our fact based & well informed our conclusions are in cases like this. Admitting that there are mistakes made and abuses is good. But sometimes a two paragraph summary of the case doesn't give enough details to explain why it had enough validity to be brought before a court.

Funny how different people look at different circumstances:  driving cross country in a beat up station wagon with plenty of useless valuables to sell for beans.  That's livin' the dream to me.  But then again, I'm just a grimy middle-class boy.

it is the American way... don't begrudge the rich when they earn it... and have no pity for those who lose it trying to get richer through  hahhah.

She had boasted of getting 10% returns from Madoff...  she.. like him... is part of the good old boy elitist connected network...a whole culture of greed.   Enjoy Red Roof Inns like the other 98% babe LOL  You, Harry,  sure as hell weren't approached by Madoff.. nor I.. nor any decent hard working American.  These were the culturally elite.. looking for a quick buck and high returns....look at her damn blog for heaven's sake hahaha. Bag Lady... f**k her.. and all her types...
