Why Grobschnitt isn't consider the best band ever?

Here in Brazil all my progressive friends agree Grobschnitt is one of the best band, but I started to like progressive because a friend of mime introduced some bands and one of the first was Grobschnitt. So, really Grobschnitt was one of the first progressive band I heard... but I'm 39 years old...

My question is: why younger fans do not know more about Grobschnitt?

It's our fault... we need to introduce to the young people better bands... Grobschnitt is around 1000% better than all neo progressive bands.. we need to introduce them to the young fans... 

Grobschnitt, P.F.M, Banco, Le Orme, Eloy, Samla Mammas Manna, Magma, Amon Duul II, Faust, and many other 70's bands are by far better than the any 80's and 90's band but seems young fans do not care about them... If you are fan of a young band, you HAVE to start listen to their fathers...

Pink Floyd and Genesis are the best? OK, but just an inch before we find Grobschnitt, P.F.M, Eloy and others from Germany and Italy...

After saying that... let me add Jumbo to my cdplayer...

Flavio, my son I see your point. I`m going to paint up some placards that say Kinder  Of die Werld you must listen to Grobschnitt, PFM, Banco and Amon Duul II and march up and down in front of Music Plus ( which is the French Canadian equivanent of MTV ) here in Montreal until they all are listening to these bands on their ipods. Just kidding . But seriously, if I took after MY father`s musical tastes I`d be listening to The Band Of The Grenadier Guards, The Pipes & Drums Of The Black Watch or Connie Francis. You have to understand that these young kids are bombarded by the internet with all this new music and just like us we were when we were young they have rebelious streaks in them and they just don`t want to listen to all that "old crap". I think to a certain extent I listened to all this wild music to be different but the real difference was that I was actually different! Believe me it was lonely sometimes with my Amon Duul II, Grobschnitt and Floh de Cologne records.

I don`t have children myself but if I did I think that the only way I could introduce them to this music we`re talking about is to play it while they`re around and let them make a decision. I`m sitting in a friend`s office right now listening to Amon Guru on the computer speakers and I`ve already had a few funny looks from a couple of the young ladies who work here. Believe me I`m on your side and I`ve had to put up with other people`s attitude towards my music all my life. All we can hope for is that it will reach some young ears in this age of the internet.

Wow! That`s original Grobs*h*t. I would have never thought of that myself. That`s just as original as Thick As A Prick. I`m going to start working on getting THURSAFLOKKURINN added myself. I`ve already listened to some of their stuff have you checked them out Mr. Lemming?????

No, I have not heard the aforementioned Thursaflokkurinn, but have attempted to get one of their enthusiasts to describe the phenomenon to me, with no result (alas)

Perhaps you could perform this task yourself, on behalf of the individual (Einsetumadur) my post was addressed to ?
