Dude, I've got bands added based on the strength of an EP

Godsticks ftw!

Anyways, the more I listen the more I think somewhere in ZART. James? Patural Science?

Although I must admit that the beginning half is very electric, very spacey...

Space rock? I don't even know anymore

I've over-analyzed it plenty, so I know how you feel. LOL

We'll find out if you guys make the right decision once history continues. No pressure. Tongue

Not avant-prog.

Not sure what it is.  I'd go for Crossover or Eclectic.

With the vast amount of influences, Eclectic does seem like a good candidate, especially evident by how much difference in possible placement we've had just for the debut.

I'll have a listen to it this evening when I can listen in peace.  Looking forward to it. :)  Incidentally, my favourite Eclectic music is commonly avant-oriented.

Awesome. Hope you like it. Big smile

My favorite Eclectic tends to be avant-oriented as well. Wink

I think the debut has more of an electronic feel though while the second album expands upon frontiers that are more experimental and avant. The category doesn't really matter, however, because we can always move it easily if it is deemed necessary, right?

Not from what I've heard...Rick Wright was in Prog-Related for years and was only recently moved into Crossover.

Guess we have to get it right the first time around.

Hmm... well, in the end it's not my decision. We'll see what people have to say and contribute towards the matter any further; I'm still leaning towards Eclectic or Avant for my two cents.

I'm just glad that people are enjoying it so far. That and no one's told us that they think it sucks.LOL

Avant, Eclectic, PE. I don't think Alex and I are too concerned about trying to label COAM yet. We'll let the experts decide.Wink

I enjoyed it, Alex.  I didn't think it that well suited to Eclectic, though, even though there is an eclecticism when one looks at the range of tracks.

First off- excellent stuff Alex & David Clap

I don't think it fits Crossover at all, there is a crossover of styles (mainly Avant, Electronic and Krautrock) that implies a certain mix of eclecticism, but the required Pop ethos isn't there. I'll leave the EP team to comment on the Eclectic side, but I have my doubts.

I'm certainly curious to hear albums 2 & 3 Approve

Thanks, Dean. Big smile

You'll get to hear #2 pretty soon, since I'm 99% sure we're finished with it. As for #3, well... still need to work alot more on it. I think it'll be a bigger transition in sound from 2 to 3 than 1 to 2. Smile
