Crimson King!!! They've always been in front of their time... and still they are!
Pink Floyd... Yeah... maybe... a good band... but there's always something in their music that repels me.

Cant choose!
A few years back I would have gone with Floyd, but my liking for Crimson has grown considerably in that time, so it's pretty much a tie.. I've been enjoying Floyd longer, and in many ways they are more in tune with my overall prog tastes, but Crimson really do it for me right now, as I'm still getting know their material. I also think that in many of their manifestations Crimson were better musicians, more eclectic and more innovative, especially in more recent years.

Pink Floyd is consistently good.
King Crimson is like a musical shapeshifter- you're never sure what you're going to get.

Pink Floyd got me definitely into prog 36 years ago, so it's easy for me to vote for Pink Floyd without writing anything against King Crimson...

I might go with Floyd on this one. I got into their early stuff recently and it all seems to be good.
