but then again, after reading your review on it, it sounds like I probably get into avant garde stuff easier than you.

Kayo Dot is hard to stomach for some people, but if for those who "get it" it's absolutely transcendental.

Yeah I know. I just re-read my review of it.


I just DON'T GET IT! And it frustrates the hell out of me . I think I wasn't exactly in a good mood that day either. But I think it probably does the same thing for you avanters that The Tangent's The World That We Drive Through does for me. The title track on that song always, ALWAYS blows me away - but some people of the avant scene would likely call it "regressive crap. Nothing new". Ah well - everyone is different

Well I only have that album and they have a drummer, I guess. I still haven't heard the other albums, but while reading some of their bio one of their past drummers committed suicide.Confused

No,no,no. The vocalist is still there and yeah...I like his vocals too. I meant his drummer. Which album was it that they used a drum machine?Because from what I've read everywhere they've always had a drummer. Must be another band your referring to.Confused
