Haha, well, the emotional strain of conducting all of that might be too much to bear!  I'd have to clone myself to cope with all the multiple time signatures... Confused LOL

Logan's supergroup is unbeatableLOL, but let's see...

Christian Vander drums
Christian Squire bass
(The best rythm section for a Christian band.)
Thijs Van Leer keys+flute+vocal
Omar Rodriguez  guitar
Daniel Gildenlöw vocals.

I don't know how would they sound Daniel and Thijs singing in Kobaia could be pretty cool.

I took a more modern take on the question, with both new and old musicians.

Some of my favourite musicians, who I think would go well together:

Daniel O'Sullivan - Fender Rhodes, harmonium (my favourite composer/musician right now - Guapo, Mothlite, Miasma & the Carousel of Headless Horses. Need I mention more?)
Bo Hansson - mellotron, harmonium, keyboards (love his playing, both a bit ambient and quite melodic too)
Daniel Denis - drums (by far one of the most interesting drummers)
Toby Driver - guitar, vocals, clarinet (great composer and musician. Love his vocals too, actually - guess it's a love or hate kind of thing)
Michel Berckmans - bassoon (I don't know too many bassoonist, but I love the sound of the instrument)
Nils Petter Molvær - trumpet, electronics (a norwegian experimental trumpetist - check out his record Khmer)
Andy Rourke - bass (the bass player from the Smiths. I find him really interesting)

I would presume the music to be quite dark and eerie avant-garde/post-rock, but at the same time very relaxing, and with some heavy outbursts now and then.

In the past Mike Portnoy's talked about working with Steven Wilson and Mikael Akerfeld. So I would have to say there's actually a shot at this happening:

Mike Portnoy - Drums
Steven Wilson - Guitar, Vocals
Mikael Akerfeld - Guitar, Vocals
Dan Briggs - Bass
Kevin Moore - Keys

Something that could actually happen?
