Whoa there! We have a bar - me and my better half run it. If people want to meet before the show we'll open up early and I think we'll also be doing burgers, chilli and curry for thems as what come straight from work (or are just hungry).
Menus with pre-order forms will be sent out with tickets which will be available by post.
Hope this helps

That's a good point. If I bring my girlfriend, she'll need vegetarian food as well. As for me, burgers are fine!

I cannot go...
Haha. I lied.
I'm hoping to go, I cannot promise anything, but I really want to go! How often does one get to see a quality band of Riverside's calibre, up close, warts and all (not including the GRoomers, of course).

Absoluely we'll be happy to provide some veggie options. How about roasted vegetable fajitas, mushroom stroganoff or a good old spicy veggie burger? It will make it a lot quicker on the night if we can take advance orders (hence the menu and form to be sent with tickets).
Cheers, Sharon (the aforementioned better half!)

Yeah, I'm not sure whether you'd want to see Jim Garten's warts...
(rumour has it, they aren't on his face.... )

As Jim is on holiday, then I have no idea if he's going yet, but let's hope he does. He can stay with Neil (and he can cope with his warts instead).

She prefers pure organic vegetarian food. She also claims she likes Marillion... I maybe willing to trade you.

I've found a better photo of the Town Hall. It looks bigger here. Let's hope the Lydney Town massif aren't out with their baseball bats when we get there, I saw a few smashed windows...

It's actually an excellent venue. It's a purpose built victorian dance/concert hall with very good acoustics and a good size stage. There are even half decent dressing rooms for the bands.
We dipped our toes in the prog water with Magenta at the hall back in June and that was a good night. If the Riverside gig is a success we hope to promote a monthly prog gig here.

Nice! It does indeed look like a good venue.
Wish list:
Indukti Astrid Proll (I can talk to band, but they're busy for the time being and as they're from Puerto Rico, they have travel expenses and suchlike, so it's best if they do a UK tour) Anathema Pain of Salvation
That's just a start and a bit of an adventurous list.
