Definetly The Prophet's Song! Mercurys delayeffects are priceless and untouchable. Bohemian Rhapsody is a bit overplayed, yes.

I agree. Perhaps the height of their creative career

Bohemian Rhapsody was a landmark recording, all the more so for the fact it went straight to the UK number one slot & stayed there for (I believe ) 9 weeks - helped in no small way by the now iconic video.
Personally, though, my favorite has always been 'The Prophet Song'; the brilliance of its writing & production propel it way ahead of the rest of the album (which in my opinion was the peak of Queen's creativity).

What dissappoints me a bit about Bohemian Rhapsody is not the riff
itself, but the fact that it's too short. Way too short.

It's fascinating how different we all seem to perceive music. Well, of course if one only knows Bohemian Rhapsody from Wayne's World, that person could think that it's all just an intro for the guitar riff.

I voted "The Prophet's Song". Bohemian Rhapsody doesn't really have too much happening in it. It all seems to build up to a frankly disappointing guitar riff.

´` Maybe because other bands certainly wish to have been able to write at least one of those songs in their entire career?
I fell in love with Bohemian Rhapsody first, but after I bought the album, The Prophet's Song absolutely amazed me. I remember that when I was in the army I played TPS to a couple of guys and one of them, a really down to earth type, simply got blown away and I think he might have gotten into prog that night.

Bohemian Rhapsody, hands down. It's not prog IMO, but very innovative, daring and totally beyond any categorisation. Totally inspired and just - perfect.

Both are lovely, but The Prophet's Song doesn't get the attention it deserves, so I voted for it.

Bohemian Rhapsody is the best prog song ever, Queen is one of the best art rock bands ever and any of the "Queen II", "A Night At The Opera" and "A Day At The Races" could easily be in the Top10...

Bohemian Rhapsody is a great song, but it's over played. I think prophet song has an unfair advantage in this poll because of BR's popularity.
