Animals. And how many 50/50 ties do you get with 236 voters ?

Animals because I don't like 'Welcome To The Machine' at all.

Wow, 120-120 ... but I cast a vote and now the timeless masterpiece of "Wish You Were Here" is slightly winning
I love the transitional album Animals, but it is not perfect.

Animals is my favourite Floyd album, although Wish you were here is also very good!

Wish you Were Here, has a few amazing songs like Shine, and Wish you were Here but the others are kind of week for Pink Floyd in my opinion (I still love the songs). Animals is more consistent so i chose it.

"Wish You Were Here" is a masterpiece with "Shine on you Crazy Diamond" and the title track.
But "Animals" shows clearly the creativity of the band, and it's a dark masterpiece!
Both are bloody good

These are my two favourite Pink Floyd albums, and while I like them
pretty much equally, I cast my vote for the slight underdog, Animals.

Both albums are great. Some of their very best work. To me Wish You Were Here is their crowning achievment.

Very hard to choose - I see that WYWH is now No 2 in the prog charts?!
But I voted for Animals for reasons I can't easily verbalise - "Sheep" is an all time favourite of mine; the overall concept is strong; WYWH is fantastic too but "Welcome to the Machine" is (IMHO) a poor track and although I enjoy "Have A Cigar" its hardly cutting edge stuff.

What a tough question!
Both are classics! Shine is my favorite song (why don't put the 2 parts together). Wish, the second. BUT Welcome & Have a cigar are just good.
I like the dark side of Animals, the theme of Animal's farm (George Orwell), the harder rock that PF, the uncommercial move they made with this album... made push me in the back to say ANIMALS is my favorite one.
Pink Floyd forever!

It seems I missed this poll... So now "Animals" is only 3 votes behind.

Wish You Were Here is decent, but I haven't heard Animals. Looks like I'll have to check it out, judging by the very even poll results. A friend of mine offered me a vinyl copy (she had two), so I might accept the offer.
