I really like the first Camel album and Moonmadness. There is enough space between the two that is almost like two diffrent bands.  Song Within a Song is by far one of my fave Camel tracks. Amazing drum work by Andy Ward, as well.

Camel are my favourite prog band, as I've said many times.

I rank their albums, in order:

Snow Goose 5* (6 if I could give it!) The peak of progressive composition to interpret a story
Moonmadness 5* Every track a gem
Mirage5* Their most energetic album
A Live Record 5* One of the finest live records ever
Rajaz 5*
Nude 5*
A Nod and a Wink 5*
Camel 4*
Rain Dances 4*
Dust & Dreams 4*
Harbour of Tears 3*
Breathless 3*
The Single Factor 3*
I Can See Your House From Here 3*
Stationary Traveller 3*

I don't believe any other band has such a high level of attainment over such a long period.

Hey Tony, how can you rate a prog monster like Raindances so low? It's almost the equal of Moonmadness ;). Breathless is very underrated. I think those 2 should replace the overrated Snowgoose and Mirage. The first Camel album is better than Snowgoose and Mirage. Tull edge out camel for most amount of strong songs over different decades ;). But camel are probably second best career for me :)
