From the list.....DT-Scenes from a Memory.
On all these "best concept album" threads one artist is sorely overlooked and underappreciated in death just as he was in life.

The Lamb Lies Down. I think it might be my favorite album of all time as
well.

But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion

The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway for whats listed. Quadrophenia for being three times as prog as The Wall.

Hey, I think the best one is " The Human equation". Ayreon is one of the best composers in prog
I love Albums like "The War of the worlds" By Jeff Wayne, and the to masterpiceses "The Human Equation" and "Into the electric Castle" By Ayreon (aka. Arjen A. Luccassen)
does anyone Know any similar albums to the ones above, i like that the album is like watching a movie or reading a book, you can both hear and see that there are put a lot of hard work an time into it.
so if you know any groups or albums similar to them, them please Let me know
Thank you.
PS: Great website!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snow Goose. No contest.
But of those not listed, Horslips' "The Tain" and "The Book of Invasions" are also mightily brilliant. For those who like hard rocking Celtic prog (NOT Folk) mixed with a chunk of Irish mythology, this band is peerless. I'm amazed so few have heard of them. They were legends in the 70s in Ireland, Germany and the US and they've just reformed on an ad hoc basis.

TFTO is genious.
A lot of people people critisize it; it certainly sounds like the most controversial (I've heard from the list).
Why'd Wakeman have to leave Yes after that album? He had some awesome stuff there...
