You should have put more more sid era songs. Personally I think that any pre dark side beats anithing that was made after drak side of the moon.

Whoa.... Someone should have turned off the multiple votes.... Now this poll is f**kED UP big time!
I'd say Shine On Your Crazy Diamond or a song like In the Flesh would be one of my favorite Floyd songs, but of course not counting the Prog magnum opus Dark Side of the Moon.

Now that I've actually got a DECENT job and my maths is improving despite the fact i'm very much an Arts student due to the fact I'm constantly counting back change to the customers WITHOUT using a calulator or a computer to do the sums for me....
I hear the shreading of the eftpos receit, the cling of coins against coins..and I think to myself...
MONEY!!! It's a drag....

Shine On. Echoes is a close second, but I think SOYCD is paced better. Besides that as a Syd fan, it's much more emotional than the meaningless pretty poetry of Echoes.
I would love to see where Pink Floyd said that most of Syd's work was rubbish. Because I doubt that they ever did. The most negative thing I can recall is Roger going on about how Syd didn't really invent Space Rock, etc. I think he just hated being in a pop band, if only temporarily :)
