"Sheep". One of their best and most powerful lyrics, and melodically very
punchy to boot.

Sheep is my favourite Floyd track, but Echoes and Shine On are excellent.

I love the introduction to Sheep, soft bleating and Rick Wrights' gentle electric piano (?)...then Waters'  bass starts up, quietly at first, hinting at the menace to come like rumbling thunder ...I love the theatre in that track, although "The Lords Prayer" is a little silly! Ends with one of Gilmour's best riffs.

Think I'm going to play it in the car tonight!

"Point me at the sky", actually. A real gem, really. I found it on the "Early Singles" CD that came with the "Shine On" boxset. It really is a song to discover, if you haven't heard it yet.

Wish You Were Here just for the memories it brings up. (and it is god damn good too)

Although one of my favourites, a track that I hardly ever see mentioned here, isn't listed in the poll:

"Nobody Home" from The Wall... just hauntingly beautiful.

Everyone here is just picking the 20 minute or more Pink Floyd songs, simply because they are long.

Long isn't always good yunno. Although it usually was in the case of Pink Floyd.

Its a shame I can only pick one beacuse I think Echoes, Shine on..., Wish you were here, Time, Money, Us and Them and One of these days are at least just SOME of their greatest tracks. Personally for me though its shine on, wish you were here, us and them (they combine the length of shine on with the lush chords and great lyrics style of wish you were here) and one of these days.
