Pink Floyd isn't necessarily bad, but they're way way way too over-rated.
My grip must be flipping
Cos his handshake keeps slipping
My hopes keep on dipping
And his lips keep on smiling all the time

Maybe you should rethink about it...

Even their last studio album was magnificent...

If I would mean DT since 2000... I'd probably got something like this written:

I dont have a problem with the video. At least it was amusing. It's the music I have a problem with.

Oh, I don't mind the video either, it's quite amusing.  I just wondered if anyone had seen it before.

What's your reason on not considering them prog? I'd love to hear it.

As for the thread question... I can't really answer it. I don't really hate any
prog band. I'm not a big Floyd fan but I do know that there music is very well
written and would never associate the word hate while talking about them.

But glittering prizes
And endless Compromises
Shatter the illusion

I'm extremely open minded towarks all subgenres of prog, and mostly dislike(not hate) the poppiest bands

So, Genesis trio, Styx, Asia, Tool... That's about it.

I particulary dislike their first works; The power and the passion and else. Now, to be fare, I have to say that "Ocean" is an incredible exception; and the live album is not that bad; but I have a lot of eloy albums that I got hopping to see some kind of artistic growing from one to the other. I want my money back. Specially, I want the money I spent getting "Metromania". They are "Emule worthy".

I'll buy all your Eloy collection. If you are willing to sell, pm me and we may cut a deal!

Marillion are the group I have just never got into at all.

Have to go with others and say Triumvirat. After years of waiting to hear the re-issues...what a let down.

I love all the really big ones (assume we're talking Genesis, Gentle Giant, Rush, Yes, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, ELP and Rush here!) ...

but of those, ELP and Rush are the ones I listen to the least, I think the trio thing might have something to do with it ...

Of the relatively well-known acclaimed prog bands ... my personal "love to hate em" band is Can

From all the "biggies", I'm not so keen on Rush, Dream Theater, the Flower Kings and Spock's Beard. Still, all of those bands have done at least some things that I really like.

From the "medium-sized bands": I can't really get into Eloy.

From the "smallies": Starcastle is a band that is very talented, but their music didn't touch me in any way.
