I guess that Images, Awake and Scenes are all valid candidates for "best DT album". It depends on your background which on you choose as your favorite.

and 6DOIT isnt?!

The Second disc is PURE GENIUS!

I can strangle a canary in a tin can and it would be really original, but that wouldn't save it from sounding like utter sh*t.

You said it yourself - the second disc is great. The first contains a lot of filler though.

True, the second disc has a very bad flow.

Actually what ruins it is the intro to the great debate, it takes too long

The glass prison is a great openerand a great song.

Then Blind faith Brings it even higher!

Missunderstood bringes it lower for a while but would be fine IF the great debate brough it up again

but sadly, for the first 2 minutes...its boring and i rarely get to the rest of the song, Which is GREAT!

then dissapear is a sad ending to it, that would work if the album had a better flow..but The Great debate's intro ruins it all

I agree that it's the last of the "classic" DT albums. In fact, only Images, Awake and ACoS are the classic DT albums. It's connected to Moore, or at least they changed their songwriting after he had left.

I wouldn't call Scenes "average" though. It's brilliant in it's own way ... I would rate both Awake and Scenes 5 stars. all of their other albums except WDADU are 4 stars for me ... they are all exceptional in different aspects.

ACoS doesnt have Moore on it,But good try

But Sherinian wasn't yet in when the parts were written. I don't know if Moore was already with Majesty when they were written ... but in sound, phrasing etc. the keyboards on ACoS are much more similar to Moore's parts than to anything on FII (or any of Sherinians solo releases).

Disagree! I think the first disc is perfect, but the second disc contains filler, IMO.

I guess you'd call the overture filler, but celebrate the noodling on Octavarium.
