I don't care...about ratings here or there...

I love Yes, even Tales and some of Rabin... but  then "Big Generator".... What the hell was that??

I love Yes, except Big Generator, Union and Talk. These are poor albums, even for this GREAT band... Open Your Eyes isn't good enough... And the best of all are between 71 and 77 I guess...

The Ladder (1999) and Keystudio (1996-97-01?) are good releases, imo.

I don't see any members with 4 stars, by the way. Would be nice for wannabe-collaborators, maybe  , or for people after 1000 or 2500 posts.

Yes: They only things I really like about them in the '80's and '90's are: 90125, the ABWH -album, the livetracks on Key To Ascension, and the Magnification-tour. For the rest: they've peaked. Will there ever be a new studio - album by the way? I wonder. Not that I expect much of it.

Rabin is good, but he shouldn't have had such a big hand in producing Big Generator. I agree with Eddie Offord: Rabin tends to sterilize the production. Great guitarplayer though, and I do like some Big Generator and Talk - stuff, and some of his solo-stuff, though not everything.

From The Yes Album up to and including Tormarto YES were awesome but then they totally lost it in the 80's! Especially - dunno if anyone else has noticed this - when Squire started dressing and looking like the dark haired one from ABBA!

you've got to include Drama in that.

Dont you think Wakeman looks like the blonde out of ABBA?
I can feel no sense of measure

LOL !
YES is one of the best bands ever, but the Rabin era is worse than everything they could have made in their long story !
Actually, I am a BIIIIIIIIG Chris Squire fan (I am a bassist, sorry)  and  I can forgive him many mistakes, but not BG, Talk ... the return of YES was in 1996 with KTA I would say... a good line-up  with Anderson, Howe, Wakeman, White and Squire.
YES RULES !!!

Yeah definitel he is the Frankenstein Version of the blonde one from ABBA!

I wonder whether he is a Dancing Queen as well?

On a serious one Squire is an awesome bass player!! Especially his line on Heart of the Sunrise when it comes out into that quieter section
