There are some bands on the site which aren`t even prog such as the Mahavishnu Orchestra who are the kings of fusion jazz. I would like to see Babe Ruth included in the archives myself. And when is Max going to add Mariah?

Haven't we been this way before: MO were deemed as prog when they first appeared on the scene - rock fused with jazz (Nice fused rock with jazz but in their own different way). Anyway Babe Ruth did a great jazz rock/prog rock cover with Zappa's King Kong - saw them do it live  around 1973 or 4 and it's on First Base their first album.

Anybody else ever listened to Terraced Garden? I believe available only on vinyl. I haven't seen any reference to them. Like 'em? Hate 'em? Opinions anybody?

With all the crazy bands you listed as prog I will throw out Violent Femmes as one. C'mon Never Tell is prog and no one....including Gentle Giant played more intruments than these guys...their 2nd album Hallowed Ground is exceptional

The Process of Weeding Out (the EP) by Black Flag is definitely flirting with
prog even if they are punk band. Entirely insturmental complex, and long.

Much of At the Drive-in's stuff also comes close, and is shown even more
when it split and two members formed The Mars Volta.

And Guns N' Roses? Are you insane?

Allman Brothers Jessica is pretty proggy and, don't laugh too hard, but the intro to I Need a Lover by John Melencamp is kida cool too.

Have you heard it or you just laughing because I said John Melencamp?  It is like Elton Johns Funeral for a Friend.
