With all the polls about guitarists, keyboard players and drummers, I thought it would be nice to cover violinists. What are your thoughts concerning the above mentioned? My personal favorite is Jean Luc Ponty's "Enigmatic Ocean" followed by Jerry Goodman's work on "Birds of fire".

I love Mauro Pagano's with PFM. One interesting player I have come across recently is Yvette Devereaux, who plays on the K2 album.Very talented, tasteful violinist. |

Once again, I will give the name of a great prog violinist who is missing in the violinist polls : Marcus VIANA, leader of the brazilian band Sagrado coraçao da terra.

how about David Cross? I don't know how talented he really is compared to JLP, but his work definitely adds a lot to several KC tracks.

Talking only about Prog' violinists (Not to contradict Billyshears 67 In the album Live at Whiskey, Robbie was replaced by the competent violinist David Ragsdale and they played most of their most famous tracks, but without Robbie, there was no personality. His technique is amazing and he adds a special feeling hard to find. Iván |

Alessandro Bonetti (Deus ex Machina) is a madman. Not sure where he ranks among these others, but definitely worth hearing!
