Might have to go with Snow Dog on this - not terribly enarmoured by the sax in prog but have always loved the flute. Hence, a big fan of Jethro Tull, Focus, Camel and others who use the flute. But I still appreciate the use of the sax especially in some KC and PF.

The use of the flute and sax are integral to prog music - it's hard to imagine prog without those instruments

I wish that people would use more than just sax in the brass dept.  I'd love to hear some Trumpet or trombone in my prog.

...and now for my weekly canterbury plug....

How about Hatfields' "Fitter Stoke has a Bath" with some of the lushest flute work of all time in the mid-section.
